HALL OF THE DIVINE. This large room is decorated with stone
bas-relief designs of writhing great snake-like and worm-like figures
interspersed with humans and multi-armed or multi-headed beasts which
may be octopuses or hydrae.
The
doors to south corridor, the west corridor, and Room 87 are made of
metal and decorated with raised designs to fit in with the rest of
the room.
The
secret door to the north can be opened by pushing in at the head of a
bas-relief of a particularly loathsome creature which resembles a man
with a snaky torso and arms that end bluntly. The statue will move
inward and aside to the right allowing access to the corridor leading
to Rooms 82 and 93. The machinery is kept well-oiled and will make
only a very slight sound.
