The
first person to read the words on this scroll (even a glance) will be
forever able to converse with bears in their own vernacular
(including part-bear creatures such as owl bears, gorilla bears, and
koduka). When they speak with bears it will sound to everyone else
like they are just saying the word “bear” over and over again,
but bears will understand them and they can understand the bears.
The
magic words will disappear following the first reading, so only one
may benefit from this miraculous and curious item.
