it has several unusual features:

- absorbs up to 10 hit points of magic missile damage per day.
- gives it wearer one additional saving throw versus poisons of all types.
- Heals the wearer by 1-4 hit points, once per day.
The ring appears as made of silver set with a bright blue stone.
