INNER WARD FIRST FLOOR 14 MEN'S BATHING CHAMBER.

14 MEN'S BATHING CHAMBER. The stairs in the corridor outside Rooms 14, 15, and 16 ascend five feet, placing these three rooms higher than the remainder of the First Floor. As a result, the ceiling is only eleven feet high in Room 14.

The gray area in the center of the room represents a five foot deep bathing pool that is currently dry. It has a central drain and is filled with pieces of rubbish including broken pieces of wood, old clothes, a rusty (and useless) short sword, and a torn boot. Pumps for hot and cold water are near the western portion of the bath.
