COOK'S BEDROOM. The door to this room is locked. The cook,
Verbonius Jacque, was once a gladiator, too, and a full kit as used
by a hoplomachus is here.
Verbonius
keeps a small chest with flint and steel, fourteen torches, 50 gold
crescents, 98 silver spanners, and 123 copper pieces beneath his bed.
