ROOM OF THE MAGIC BASIN. This room is very different from the rest
of the sewer sub-level. The walls and floor are white marble and the
ceiling is a relatively spacious eight and a half feet high. A long
stone three foot tall basin is against the south wall and it pours
crystal-clear water from a waterfall into a channel in the ground
extending to the north wall and the entry passage. The water is self-renewing.
Drinking
the water of the basin will cause an unusual magi c effect.
