COOPER. There are seven long wooden workbenches and the walls are
lined by shelves. The floor is cluttered with the products of the
industry: casks, buckets, tubs, butter churns, and similar items.
Conspicuous in the center of the room is a huge barrel with the words
“DO NOT OPEN” painted in red.
The
large barrel is closed with twenty golden nails (10 gold crescent
value each). If even one of the nails are removed, golden furred
monkeys will begin to emerge from the barrel, five per round, until
twenty have appeared.
20 Monkeys (AC 8; MV 12”; HD 1-4 hit points; hp 2 each; #AT 1 bite; D
1-2; XP 7 each)
The
workbenches hold tools such as augers, adzes, braces, and saws along
with a fair supply of candles.
The
shelves hold flagging and chintzing irons, shaves, planes, cranks and
other tools of the cooper's trade.
